Joe Calabrese

The Masters

Fellow member Joe Calabrese recently crossed off a bucket list item as he took a trip of a lifetime to this years Masters Tournament in Augusta, Georgia.

In Joe’s own words....

On April 7th, I attended the second round of the 2017 Masters Golf Tournament. It was a lifetime dream and major bucket list item.  I entered the gates at 7AM as the sun was rising and departed after sunset at 8PM. I expected it to be a moving experience but it exceeded even my wildest dreams. The grass was greener then green, flowers colors unimaginable, the whole experience literary bought me to my knees.

It was truly a great day to be alive. Once you entered the gates of Augusta National the outside world just drifts away. Since no cell phones are allowed inside there is a unique comradery among the spectators that adds to the magical experience.

It was one of the best times days of my life and one I will cherish always.
